Tom Rogic’s knee injury appears to have made him a huge doubt for tonight’s clash against St Mirren at Celtic Park.
The Aussie has been struggling since the start of the season with knee complaints. He hasn’t managed to get a run of games under his belt this term whatsoever.

Yet things looked more positive after Pittodrie. Rogic played a key part in securing the 4-0 victory over the Dons to keep us top of the table. It looks like it could be a renaissance-style performance from him. But, Neil Lennon confirmed at his presser that he’s again got some inflammation in his knee.
And it’s fair to say that some supporters haven’t been too pleased with the news:

New injury may not be as bad as some think
Lennon also spoke at his press conference about how great it is to have Rogic back and that it’s a real boost for the team. In fairness to the Hoops boss, he wouldn’t be talking like that if he was out for the long-term.
It could just be that the St Mirren game tonight comes too early for Tom. Mainly, the issue is likely that it’s so soon after his 90-minute performance against Aberdeen. There’s no reason for him to be risked if Ryan Christie is available either.

Then again, it is hard to ignore the injury history Rogic has had in Glasgow. Just when you think he’s on form and set to take the league by storm, he picks up another nasty knock. If he is going to be a big challenger to Ryan Christie, he needs to be consistently available for selection.
It appears from this handful of tweets that some fans are getting pretty fed up with it. It’s even more frustrating considering it seems to consistently be his knee that’s flaring up.

With such a hectic winter schedule set to kick into effect, it’s vital Rogic is available for selection. This is his big chance to put pressure on Christie and make his mark at the club once again.
In order to get his name back into the mix, he can’t be laying on the treatment table. Hopefully, however, this latest blow is nothing too serious.
