Celtic recently announced the return of Fraser Forster to the club on a season-long loan deal. The player has fallen out of favour at Southampton, and the move to Glasgow makes sense for all parties.
Interestingly, the transfer was announced during the Hoops’ 2-0 Europa League play-off win over AIK.

That is an usual time for a transfer to be announced. However, it did mean that the player was able to be paraded at half-time of the game.
Fans seem delighted by return
Some Celtic fans on social media have been reacting to Forster’s return to the club. Most seem to be delighted that the goalkeeper is back on Celtic’s books.
One fan even suggested that he should be brought on at half-time against AIK.
Here are some of the best reactions to Forster’s return to Celtic:

It remains to be seen if Forster can recapture the form that made him such a success in his first spell at Celtic. In his first spell at the club he was a superb player.
Played a key role in legendary win
He was a key man for the Hoops in the legendary 2-1 win over Barcelona in 2012. Only time will tell if Forster is as good a goalkeeper as he was back then.
If he is, he could turn out to be an astute signing for the Hoops. Fans will be eager to see him make his second debut for the club, perhaps it will come as soon as Sunday against Hearts.
