Some Celtic fans are irked that Jordan Larsson is close to joining Spartak Moscow according to reports.

The move of around £4 million will take place over the next couple of days.

Larsson is firing on all cylinders for current side Norrköping in the Swedish league.

This is bringing Celtic fans to the realisation that the club should be going for him.

However, a couple of moves later and the younger Larsson is proving the genes are still there.

This season, Larsson has netted 11 goals in 16 appearances for Norrköping with one assist.

His present deal runs out next November and Spartak are using that to their advantage.

The Russians are agreeing a deal of around £4 million and his medical is on the cards.

Young Larsson knows all about Celtic as he used to run about the pitch on occassion in the early 2000s.

He is also friends with Chris Sutton’s kids too as they grew up together in the Glasgow environment.

Larsson’s goal tally and all things considered is leaving fans wondering why Celtic aren’t signing him.

Celtic can’t pass up perfect marketing opportunity

However, it would be massive pressure on Larsson’s shoulders to live up to his Dad’s name.

Perhaps in a few years time a more experienced Larsson can come back to Paradise.

For the meantime, it looks like he will be a Spartak Moscow player.
