Ryan Christie has picked up where he let off last season, by scoring goals and turning in excellent performances for Celtic.
He took his goal total to the season for three with a double in Celtic’s 5-0 win over Nomme Kalju. He also showed responsibility in that game by taking and converting a penalty.
It is only early in the season, but Christie already looks like he is going to be a hugely important player for the Hoops in the months to come.
Fan predicts a ‘phenomenal’ season

Unsurprisingly, fans were delighted with Christie’s performance in the game. One went as far as to claim that his season could be ‘phenomenal’.
Here are some of the best reactions from social media to Christie’s performance:

Since moving into the ‘number 10’ role, Christie seems to have even more influence on the Celtic team than he did last season.
Hoops boss deserves credit

For that decision, Hoops boss Neil Lennon deserves plenty of credit. In only a short spell working with the player, he has managed to improve his game from last season.
When you consider how influential Christie was last season, that is some going. If Christie can keep up this good form for the rest of the season, he could well score 20 goals. That would be an incredible return from an attacking midfielder.
