Corrie Ndaba has recently joined Kilmarnock in the summer transfer window. The on-loan Ipswich defender has joined the Ayrshire club on loan until the end of the season.
But prior to joining Derek McIness’ side, Nbada spent a short time on loan at Fleetwood Town under former Celtic hero Scott Brown.
Broony has been managing Fleetwood since he retired from football just over a year ago and it seems that he has shaken the hardman persona that he displayed whilst bossing Scottish football as the Celtic captain.

Ndaba said [The Herald Monday Sport pull out print edition, page 8], “He was a great player, it was good to play under him.
“He’s not as crazy as I thought he would be, to be fair. He’s serious on the managerial front. As a player, he was tough so I didn’t know what to expect from him as a manager.
“There’s a real serious side to him – as a manager you need to be, you’re captain of the ship. You need to lead the players and I think he does that well.”
Irish-born Nbada made eight appearances for Fleetwood under Brown helping the former Hoops hero guide his club to 13th place in English League One.

When you watch Brown in interviews down south, you can definitely get the sense that he has mellowed out from his combative days as a midfielder.
Whilst there is no doubting that Brown will still demand the highest standards of performance from his players, it seems as though he has adapted his personality and style to, along with losing the famous skinhead, to help guide and coach players to the best that they can be.
Brown now enters his second season with EFL club after signing a new contract this summer and I know that all the Celtic fans will wish him well for the new season ahead.
