St Mirren striker Jon Obika has sent a message to Celtic ahead of the fixture between the teams on Saturday, the Herald reports.
Obika, who has scored 11 goals this season, has warned the Hoops that the Paisley side will take on the Hoops with ‘no fear’.
“We should be confident”
“I remember the last game against Celtic at Parkhead and I enjoyed it. We didn’t get the points that day, but we played well in that game. And we should be confident about going back as there’s no fear now” he said, as reported by the Herald.

The game that Obika refers to ended 2-0 to the Hoops. Perhaps St Mirren are confident after fellow strugglers Hamilton managed to defeat Rangers 1-0 in midweek.
However, there is a big difference between Celtic and Rangers – the Hoops are a far better team. Indeed, St Mirren’s attitude might play into Celtic’s hands.
Hoops won’t take victory for granted
Should they come to Celtic Park and go on the attack, then the Hoops could well pick them off on the break. However, the Hoops won’t be taking victory for granted.

After all, the game is as important for the Saints as it is for Celtic, as St Mirren need the points for their battle to stay in the Premiership.
Now, if the Hoops are on form then Celtic should pick up a comfortable win. However, at this stage of the season, no game will be easy. The most important thing is that the Hoops pick up three points, no matter how good the performance is.
