Wilfried Nancy is coming under increasing pressure at Celtic and this week, he has the chance to either halt it, or add fuel to the fire.
Celtic’s next fixture is against Dundee United tomorrow night and Nancy has the opportunity to turn the tide of negativity into a positive with a convincing win.
However, to do that, Nancy needs to get a tune out of a Celtic team who, at this moment in time, look dysfunctional and bereft of ideas every time they get the ball.
Who is to blame for Celtic’s results? The players or Wilfried Nancy? Let us know in the comments below.
Watch Darren Bent's argument for who is responsible for Celtic's three defeats under Nancy.
But Stiliyan Petrov thinks Celtic’s problems run a bit deeper than a team simply being off form. In fact, the Hoops hero has said that due to Wilfried Nancy’s system, there are a number of players who are now anonymous at the club.

Petrov says Wilfried Nancy has ‘confused’ Celtic’s first-team players
The Bulgarian legend was speaking about the team after the cup final defeat to St Mirren when Petrov said that Nancy has made everything complicated for the Hoops first team squad.
Petrov told The Scottish Football Social Club, “He’s a very clever simple manager [Martin O’Neill]. He knows how to get the best out of players.
“He knows what the players are good at. He knows what every single position he demands from. What you demand from the winger, what you demand from the midfielder, what you demand from the striker.
“And he tried to take the best out of them. And he gives simple instructions.
“At the moment we are talking about a different formation, the players are disconnected, confused about what their roles are.”
Petrov names Celtic captain Callum McGregor as one of four obscure players
It’s a bad day when Celtic’s most consistent player is struggling under the new manager and Petrov named Callum McGregor as one of four who look lost under Nancy.
Petrov continued, “I mean we have [Callum] McGregor, he has dominated games for how many years and all of a sudden the last three games, he is non-existent. And you’re thinking what happened with Callum McGregor?
Does Wilfried Nancy have the belief of the Celtic players?
“I mean, what happened with the defence, with Engels, what happened with Hatate, what happened with Nygren? And this is only two weeks.
“So sometimes when the manager comes in and he demands different things from the players, they get confused.
“They get confused, and especially when you don’t win games, it becomes even bigger trouble.”
If Nancy wants to turn around the form of the team, he will need to get all four players, especially McGregor, back to doing what they do best or the Celtic boss will find himself under intense pressure once again if he loses at Tannadice.
