Sunderland star Chris Maguire has cheekily responded to a question asking whether he would rather play for Newcastle United or Rangers.
Taking part in a club question and answer session with videos sent in from home, Maguire said he’d need to think about that one, as he raised his treble treble Celtic mug to take a drink.
You can see the tweet from the official Sunderland Twitter account below.
Maguire has played for clubs such as Aberdeen and Kilmarnock in the past but has never hidden his love for Celtic, talking about supporting the club previously (The Daily Record).
The attacker has been at Sunderland since 2018 and is one of the players featured in the hit Netflix documentary Sunderland ‘Til I Die, which is airing its second series right now.
Popular with football fans of all persuasions, many people have taken a closer eye on Sunderland as a result of the exposure on the streaming platform.

With players not having much to do at home but keep themselves fit, it’s nice to see Maguire have a bit of fun with his Celtic mug at Rangers’ expense.
It’s a bit of much-needed levity on an otherwise quiet Friday evening!
