BBC pundit and former Hibs striker Tam McManus has made a bold Celtic transfer prediction. He believes that Kilmarnock’s Greg Taylor will be a Celtic player in the very near future.
McManus made the prediction after Taylor was absent from the Kilmarnock side which drew 0-0 with Aberdeen.
“Fully expect him to sign for Celtic”
“No Greg Taylor for Killie? We spoke about it last week on PLZ Soccer that Celtic should make a move for him. Looks like they have and would now fully expect him to sign for Celtic” he said on Twitter.

It is no secret that Celtic are interested in the player. The Daily Record recently reported that Kilmarnock are demanding £3 million for the player.
The report went on to claim that the Hoops want the player to sign in time for next Sunday’s Glasgow derby against Rangers.
Hoops yet to make any formal bid for player
If that is the case the Hoops will need to move quickly to get Taylor signed up. However, as yet they have not made any bid for the left-back.
The first offer could be quite telling. If the Hoops offer, for example, £2 million and a player, like Jack Hendry for example, it will show that they are more than eager to get the player in.
Of course, Kilmarnock are well within their rights to refuse to sell the player until their reported asking price is met.
Any move will need to be soon to get Taylor in the squad in time for the derby. McManus at least seems very confident that the move will happen.
