Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon says he would be interested in becoming the next manager of Hibernian.
Hoops favourite Lennon managed the Leith outfit between 2016 and 2019, guiding them to the Championship title and a fourth placed finish in the Premiership a year later.
He is still held in pretty high regard by the Hibs fanbase, despite his time at the club not ending particularly well.

Now Lennon has declared his interest in the vacant role after being asked directly on the PLZ Soccer Football Show.
“Of course because I’ve been there before,” he said when asked by Peter Martin whether he’d be interested in a return to Easter Road.
“It’s a big club. It’s got potential, but there’s been change after change after change. There’s been no consistency at coach level.
“They have to get the next appointment right for a bit of stability.”
Lennon went on to talk more about the general situation Hibs find themselves in at present. He didn’t return to the possibility of him taking on the job, but said enough in the early portion of his answer to suggest that he’d take it if offered.
So will he be offered it? He’s certainly among the contenders and that would be a very tasty return for Hibernian, Celtic and Scottish football.
Lennon left us in an awful state during the ill-fated 2020/21 season. While there were extenuating circumstances in that Covid-hit campaign, our performances on the pitch were nowhere near good enough.
If he does find a way to re-enter the Hibs hotseat, it would set up some cracking encounters against us this season.
We’re due to travel to Edinburgh on October 29, while Hibs are at Celtic Park soon after on December 7.
