Teemu Pukki has revealed he isn’t sure why it didn’t work out for him at Celtic. The striker signed for the Hoops in 2013, but he failed to make an impact and joined Brondby after scoring only nine goals for the Hoops in 38 appearances.
“I think we can say it wasn’t the success we were hoping for and it was a hard time for me personally. I started well and got a couple of goals, but then it didn’t go so well and it’s hard to say why” he told Sky Sports.

No regrets
The player does not regret moving to the Hoops, even though it didn’t work out.

“I have good memories and it made me a better player. I got used to the physical play in Scotland and it taught me about some stuff for sure.”
Bounced back in style

The player has certainly bounced back from his disappointing spell in Glasgow. He is currently at Norwich, where his 25 goals this season have catapulted the Championship side to the top of the table.
His success could be vindication for current Hoops interim boss Neil Lennon. It was Lennon who brought the player to Celtic Park in the first place.
Even though he didn’t make it at Celtic, the player must have had something which persuaded Lennon to sign him in the first place.
Six years later, the Championship is finding out what kind of player Pukki has always promised to be.
