Carl Starfelt is the latest Celtic player to speak positively about Brendan Rodgers.
It’s been an intriguing few weeks as we see our first-team stars return to training under their new boss.
The vast majority of the squad were brought to the club by former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, and it’s been particularly interesting to see them suddenly adjust to life under Rodgers.
Matt O’Riley was the first player to be heard loud and clear last week, while Joe Hart also had some good things to say about the new regime.
Starfelt is the latest Postecoglou favourite to be asked about Rodgers, and he’s offered some interesting insight.
“I’ve only heard positive things about him,” the Swedish defender told Celtic TV on Tuesday.

“So before I came [back to training] I had a very positive mindset about everything.
“Also meeting him, he’s a really good guy and I’m sure he’s a very good manager like you can see in his record. I’m very happy to work with him.”
You get the impression that morale is high at the Celtic training camp in Portugal. The players will be working extremely hard with multiple sessions per day, but motivation will be strong.
Postecoglou was a great Celtic manager. But you do just wonder if bringing Rodgers back may turn out to be a complete masterstroke from the club.
He is a name that the majority of our squad will know. He will have their respect instantly, while his approach may feel a little more intimate that his predecessor.

Celtic are coming off a treble-winning season — a fact that may have been forgotten a little bit in some reporting over the last five weeks.
If the likes of Starfelt and O’Riley can kick-on to hit even greater heights, we’re in for a another very enjoyable campaign.
A little bit of change never hurt anyone.
In other news, more big changes are coming to the UEFA Champions League from 2024/25 and Celtic will be affected
