Legia Warsaw have posted footage of new Celtic signing Josip Juranovic saying goodbye to his teammates after Thursday’s night’s Europa League clash against Slavia Prague.
Celtic have signed up Juranovic on a five-year deal, with manager Ange Postecoglou expecting him to take part in training as early as tomorrow or Tuesday.
Juranovic was only in Poland for a year, but it seems he made himself a popular member of the squad. His address to the team and the reception he gets is incredibly friendly.
There’s a great moment too, when former Celtic hero Artur Boruc embraces the right-back and wishes him the best on his journey to Scotland.
You can see the footage on the official Legia Warsaw Twitter account. It was posted yesterday.
Juranovic has also revealed that Boruc is an inspiration for him, considering what he achieved at the Bhoys.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, the right-back said: “Considering how good and happy I felt at Legia, it was not an easy decision to sign for Celtic. But on the other hand, it is easy to look at the sports aspect of it.
“Celtic are a great club, it’s a step forward for me. So from this point of view, I had no doubts.
“I spoke to Artur Boruc after the last game. I know he’s a legend in Celtic. I will try to get at least close to what he achieved there.

“I also looked at the possible transfer with regards to how Celtic play. Celtic are the dominant team in the Scottish league, like Legia in Poland.”
Hopefully he can endear himself with the Celtic support as much as the former goalkeeper did!
In other news, Liel Abada makes it clear he’s loving the Celtic song fans have given him already.
