Mikael Lustig is the latest player to be confirmed for the Celtic Legends side set to take on Liverpool later this month.

An all-stars Hoops side make the trip to Anfield on March 25 in a match raising funds for the LFC Foundation, Celtic Foundation and others.

Lustig‘s inclusion was confirmed by the Foundation on Twitter last night, alongside news of more tickets going on sale to Hoops supporters.

It’s been a busy week of announcements for the 2016/17 Invincible, after a Hydro event with Scott Brown was launched on Monday.

Hearing much-loved figure Lustig talk about his Celtic days is one thing, but seeing him back in that iconic jersey will be something special.

A browse of the Foundation’s Twitter feed uncovers a class number of former Hoops favourites who will also feature at Anfield.

Already confirmed are: Lustig, Artur Boruc, Stan Petrov, Simon Donnelly, Stephen McManus, Darren O’Dea, Emilio Izaguirre, Marc Crosas, Si Ferry, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and 67 Hail Hail’s very own Joe Ledley.

Robbie Keane will play one half for each side while Paul Lambert will lead the Hoops in the dugout.

On the Liverpool side are a number of stellar names from the past including Dirk Kuyt, Luis Garcia, Djibril Cissé, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel and Sami Hyypiä.

Hoops icon Sir Kenny Dalglish will manage their side.

It all takes place during the international break so it should get a good billing from both clubs online.

Should be a tasty one.

In other news, Hyeongyu Oh seems to be settling in very well to life at Celtic
