Celtic hero Neil Lennon is back in management and it has Scottish football buzzing.
Lennon had been enjoying a career in the media ever since the former Celtic manager left Rapid Bucharest in August last year.
A true Celtic legend, Lennon now embarks on the next chapter of his managerial career after taking temporary charge of Dunfermline until the end of the season.
Already creating headlines, Lennon signed former Celtic hero Victor Wanyama to help stave off the threat of relegation to the Fife club but it seems that there is another Hoops connection at the Pars that the Northern Irishman will lean on for help.

Neil Lennon will depend on former Celtic coach John McLaughlan
Lennon joins Dunfermline and will take over with the same backroom team intact and it might work in his favour.
Speaking about the move, ex-Celtic player Si Ferry said that within the corridors of the East End Park club, John McLaughlin will be crucial in helping Lennon be a short-term success.
Ferry told Open Goal [1h 18m]: “The thing is, John McLaughlan’s in there, who took them before Tidser went in.
“Lenny knows John from Celtic. So I dare say, he’ll lean on John a lot, because John done well when he took over [Dunfermline] at first.”
What John McLaughlan achieved at Celtic and beyon
McLaughlan joined Celtic’s youth academy in 2004 and coached the U17 team to the title in 2016. He also had a spell as the U19 head coach.
After leaving Celtic in 2021, McLaughlan joined Hearts as their Academy Development Manager and also coached their U18s, B team and the women’s team.
Leaving the Edinburgh side in 2023, McLaughlan was hired by Dunfermline as Head of Professional Development and led the club to the SPFL Reserve Cup Final in 2024.
With his vast array of experience, Lennon has the perfect man in place to help steer Dunfermline away from the Championship relegation places and into safety.
