The Celtic squad has undergone a fair bit of change since the end of last season.
On June 3, the Hoops clinched another domestic treble with victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Hampden.
Since then, Brendan Rodgers has returned to the club as manager, a raft of new faces have joined him and a number of important figures have departed the scene.
Celtic‘s incoming tally now sits at six if you include the formality of Tomoki Iwata’s loan deal being made permanent. Three of the arrivals have joined this week and that almost certainly won’t be the end of the club’s business.
Given the recent flurry of activity, we felt it would be a good time to take a look at every first-team player on the club’s books.
Some have little future at the club, others don’t yet have a confirmed position. But for a bit of fun, let’s take a look anyway.

As you can see, some areas like central-midfield are pretty well stocked. Others like left-wing and left-back may be in need of reinforcement.
Celtic have already completed some positive streamlining of the squad this summer with the likes of Conor Hazard and Osaze Urhoghide moved out.
But there are still a number of others who could do with moving on for the benefit of their own careers. Albian Ajeti and Ismaila Soro seem like an obvious two.
If we can move those two plus a few more out, and bring in another two or three first-team ready additions, it will have been a very successful window.

Injuries will play their part this season, as they do every season. The Asian Cup could also make things challenging at the start of 2024.
That’s why it’s crucial we build the squad in the strongest way for what is to come.
The window has got just over five weeks to run.
