The Green Brigade have uploaded a video highlighting their preparations and execution of the stunning full stadium tifo display at Celtic Park recently.
The fan group, with funding from the wider support and help from North Curve Celtic, unveiled a brilliant design celebrating last season’s title achievement on Flag Day, which drew praise from supporters around the world and went viral online.
Now, they’ve posted some drone and time-lapse footage of the hard work that went into laying it out around the stadium, as well as new angles of the display itself before kick-off. You can view it on YouTube via this link, with a shortened version embedded below.
It’s one of a few the fan group have planned for the upcoming season, with Celtic set to re-enter the Champions League group stages for the first time in years.
These displays are time-consuming and costly, so the positive and impressive videos coming out will help inspire even more fans to get involved with future efforts.
To date, over £28,000 has been raised to help fund the season’s activities, with a GoFundMe page still active and accepting donations.
The pre-match atmosphere against Aberdeen was electric and really provided for a memorable start, with Stephen Welsh scoring the first goal of the season very early in the 90 minutes.
When it comes to setting the tone for huge European matches, Celtic fan groups will play a crucial role, backed by the rest of the stadium.
It’s fantastic to see this passion, creativity and unity on display at such a large scale, and hopefully, many more brilliant moments are on the way throughout 2022/23.
Well done to all involved!
