The Green Brigade have shared a number of new images of the recent tifo display at Celtic Park ahead of the Bayer Leverkusen fixture.

The ultras group unveiled a display dedicated to Celtic’s history, featuring different club crests and Brother Walfrid. The European effort also came with the famous lyric: “For it’s a grand old team to play for.”

Twitter account North Curve Celtic shared fresh photos of it all, along with a link to even more images of a glittering Celtic Park from different angles.

I believe this was all arranged as a back-up display on short notice, so the fact that The Green Brigade managed to pull it all together and have it looking so good is a credit to them.

The atmosphere ahead of the Leverkusen game was electric, with the high-tempo football of Celtic adding to the occasion in the early stages of the match itself.

Sadly, familiar failings came to the fore again and we would ultimately slump to a heavy defeat.

The Green Brigade, and indeed all Celtic fans, will be crucial again when the club host Ferencvaros in a couple of weeks time.

The unusual kick-off time could hurt the attendance, but those who manage to make the fixture will undoubtedly produce a lot of colour and make a lot of noise.

Hopefully, the organised fan groups can sort out more excellent displays to enjoy as the team comes out of the tunnel!
