The Green Brigade have a new song for Celtic matches and uploaded a video of its airing at Tannadice on Sunday.
The fan group were in attendance, like always, as the Bhoys beat Dundee United 2-0 thanks to goals from Jota and Aaron Mooy.
Showcasing the effort on Twitter via the North Curve account this evening, they’ve also provided the lyrics which are: “Our love has been a craze, we’ll follow all our days, oh Celtic FC. Our lives would be empty, without seeing you play, oh Celtic FC.”
It’s believed the tune comes from German songwriter Achim Reichel’s 1991 hit Aloha Heja He, which has been a viral song online over the last couple of years.
The Green Brigade have brought plenty of new Celtic chants to terraces around Scotland over the years but it remains to be seen if this one will be popular with the wider support – it’s at least catchy enough!
After a dazzling pyro display at Hampden ahead of the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock, no doubt they have more plans to provide an excellent pre-match scene-setter for the final next month.
The Celtic players have enjoyed incredible unity with the entire support home and away since Ange Postecoglou arrived at the club, often pointing out how impressed they were on their personal social media accounts.
Recent departures Moritz Jenz and Josip Juranovic have both spoken about potentially missing that interaction after signing elsewhere.
That backing will be incredibly important during the run-in, even with a healthy points lead at the top of the table. With two cups to play for alongside the league, fans can play a big role in pushing the team on to a potential treble.
Bring it all on!
