The Green Brigade unveiled a stunning Celtic display at the North Curve section of the stadium ahead of kick-off against Bayer Leverkusen tonight.

Recognising Celtic’s past with the display of historic club crests, as well as creating a portrait of Brother Walfrid, the effort really enhanced the colour and atmosphere pre-match.

Twitter user @tamsellicsonIII posted footage of the display that you can see here.

Celtic Park was absolutely rocking prior to kick-off, with the unusual combination of Scooter and You’ll Never Walk Alone setting the tone.

The rendition of the club anthem was wonderful at Celtic Park, with the spotlights from the much-talked-about disco lights definitely adding a touch of class to it all.

Tonight’s atmosphere was undoubtedly boosted by the presence of Callum McGregor and Kyogo Furuhashi on the teamsheet. There inclusion was a huge surprise that went down an absolute treat with fans.

That transferred into the match with the Japanese striker really hyping up the crowd in the early stages with his movement and chances.

Unfortunately, the first half hasn’t gone to plan and it’s the visitors who have really shown their worth on the pitch.

Some poor defensive lapses have been capitalised on by the Germans, who have gone into the interval 2-0 up and cruising.

If only we had a defence as good as our supporters, eh? Fingers crossed for a better second half.
