When it comes to getting a ticket for an away Celtic match, Livingston is by far your best bet.
The West Lothian side offers the biggest allocation to Hoops supporters by a country mile. While the likes of Rangers, Hearts and Kilmarnock look to restrict the number of Celtic faithful through their turnstiles, Livingston have held firm.
Take Saturday’s clash for example. Celtic received 7,304 tickets for the Tony Macaroni Arena, as per Celtic FC Tickets on Twitter. Once again, it will be like a home game for us with green-and-white filling three sides of the ground.
It’s a strange sight for a top-flight match. But a welcome one if you’re a Celtic fan trying to see a game that’s not held in Glasgow. Even those without tickets may have a way to watch.

What is perhaps worthy of even more praise is that the Hoops fanbase have snapped up the tickets. If the allocation was 10,000 the same would likely apply. It’s an immense effort that we should never take for granted.
There are not many teams who would be able to get together over 7,000 supporters for an away day. Even less so at a largely unglamorous venue that we tend to visit two teams per season.

So we just thought it was worth commenting on because the backing we give our team really is second to none. Let’s hope for a big performance and victory to send the thousands home happy.
