The latest Celtic Adidas kit is spotted on shop shelves early

Celtic’s 2024/25 away kit has been spotted on shop shelves before it has been officially unveiled or put on sale.

Adidas merchandise has been incredibly popular with supporters since they took over the design and manufacture of the club’s playing and training gear in 2020.

In the last set of fully published annual financial results, Celtic declared record merchandise revenue, with fans powering exceptional sales – 16.4% up on the previous year.

Next season’s home kit has already been released to rave reviews. The away and third kits are likely to be big sellers too.

Earlier this week, Footy Headlines published pictures of the leaked yellow away top that has green flourishes, a throwback to similar kits in 2013/14, 2008/09 and 2002/03.

Celtic fans get a good look at new away top

X user @lincolnbhoy1 uploaded a photo of the new shirt as seen at the Adidas store in Oxford Street, London, well before the majority of fans will be able to get their hands on the gear.

Pictures in advance of official releases are always less flattering than the glamorous promo shots so we still await what it will really look like, especially on players in match situations.

Generally, the return of yellow and green to the away shirt should be popular with many fans and there are no wacky Adidas designs to get our heads around.

The coming season’s home shirt is priced at a hefty £70 for adults and £55 for juniors, so the away shirt will be very similar. There’s a lot of money to be made on all these releases.

Supporters will be hoping that cash is put to good use this summer during a pivotal transfer market for Brendan Rodgers and his coaching staff.

We won’t be too far away now from the club officially launching this latest Adidas line before a third kit is released later in the summer.
