This Celtic side have been so dominant this season that you could point to at least six players that would be in with a chance of winning the Player of the Year award.
Aaron Mooy’s form after the World Cup saw the Australian become a regular first-team pick for Ange Postecoglou. With seven goals and ten assists, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone disagreeing with that choice.
Greg Taylor has also been outstanding this year.

The left-back has found a new lease of life under Ange and over the two seasons, he has been one of our most consistent performers.
As has Callum McGregor. The Celtic captain has been a rock in the middle of the park this season. His leadership and determination clearly drives the team on. And I haven’t even mentioned Reo Hatate!
But for me, there are three players that I would consider as being in the top three as genuine contenders for the end of year award.
Cameron Carter-Vickers
The American defender has been solid in the centre of the Celtic defence.
Over this season, Carter-Vickers has made 37 appearances for the club. His presence in the heart of the defence has helped develop Carl Starfelt into a more assured defender and it is no coincidence that our only defeat of the season came when the US international was missing from the side.
Huge performances against Rangers this season, especially at Ibrox in the 2-2 draw have helped the side maintain their dominance over our Glasgow rivals.
Jota
The Portuguese winger has been in sensational form for Celtic this season. With 37 appearances under his belt he has scored 13 goals and created 11 assists.
Not only does he have skill and trickery on the wing, he has also developed a part of his game that is vital in an Ange Postecoglou team. Pressing and tracking back.
Goals against Rangers this season in the 4-0 and 3-2 wins at Celtic Park have shown that Jota has what it takes to deliver in the big games for Celtic.
Kyogo Furuhashi
You can’t really argue with this one. The other selections? Maybe.
But for me, Kyogo is the clear favourite.
Again, goals against Rangers this season have been a huge part of why Celtic are marching on to the league but overall, his consistency at putting the ball in the back of the net is second to none.

At 29 goals so far, there is a very real possibility that the Japanese striker could hit 40 before the conclusion of the season.
Only two players in Henrik Larsson and Leigh Griffiths have managed that feat so far this century.
It is a topic for great debate amongst the Celtic fans.
The fact that there are so many players that could potentially be up for the award is testament to the outstanding job Ange Postecoglou has done in his two seasons at the club.
