Celtic Park could be a busy place on Monday as the Hoops look to finalise a couple of transfers on Deadline Day.

Greg Taylor is expected to complete his move from Kilmarnock (BBC) while there are also murmurings of a shock return for Victor Wanyama.

But what about outgoing players? Here are three who could depart Parkhead on Deadline Day.

Likely to leave Celtic – the Deadline Day trio

The Daily Record reported on Saturday night that both Jack Hendry and Calvin Miller had a role to play in Taylor’s proposed move. They said that a season-long loan for Hendry and a two-year loan for Miller had been discussed, but that negotiations on that front “had caused delays.”

However, it is still pretty likely that both Hendry and Miller will move to Ayrshire, albeit on temporary deals.

Hendry has failed to make any sort of impact since his £1.5million move from Dundee in early 2018. He has played just 26 times for the Hoops in 18 months, with the most recent of those appearances coming in Brendan Rodgers’ final game in charge in February.

Miller, meanwhile, has only ever played five competitive matches for the club. Bizarrely, three of those came up against the Rugby Park side.

Fellow defender Anthony Ralston is another likely to head out of the door before the close of play on Monday. The 20-year-old, who made what looks like being his last appearance in Sweden on Thursday, is a target for St. Johnstone according to the Scottish Sun. They say that Ralston is expected in Perth to sign a deal although it is not yet clear whether that would be a loan or permanent move.

Ralston still has another three years to run on his Hoops contract after signing an extension in 2017, so time will tell what happens there.

If we can move that trio on and bring Taylor in then that will mark a pretty good end to the summer window. If we could secure another signing on top of that, then that would be an almighty bonus.
