Celtic face a tough clash this evening as they aim to make it to the last 16 of the Europa League.
The Hoops have failed to make it past the round of 32 three times in the past six years – but tonight’s clash against Copenhagen gives Neil Lennon’s men an ideal chance to right that wrong.
And if we get to the last 16 we’ll be joined by Rangers in news that could lead to a bizarre Wednesday night slot.

What’s the story?
Let’s assume we make it through tonight. We’ll be able to face any of the other 15 teams remaining in the competition.
While drawing the hapless Gers may be enticing to many supporters, the more bizarre setup could happen if ourselves and Rangers are kept apart.
If that happens, and we’re both drawn either home or away first, one of the home leg matches will have to be moved to the previous night.

That’s why Rangers were in action on Wednesday this week. Due to Braga’s close proximity to fellow last 32 side Porto.
Furthermore, UEFA don’t like Europa League games clashing with the Champions League, so we would undoubtedly be set a similar 5pm kick-off on a Wednesday.
Of course, a few things need to happen before this becomes a possible scenario.
And the first of them is Celtic progressing safely tonight. Over to you Bhoys.
