With Scottish football given a massive boost yesterday, it’s a shame that some just can’t get over their bitterness to see the positives it brings.
Indeed, the Scottish Government yesterday gave Ross County and Aberdeen the green light to host a limited number of spectators for their games at the weekend (Daily Mail). County will host 300 fans against Celtic, whilst the Dons will be allowed to bring in the same number.

The matches will effectively be used as test games to ensure that bringing supporters back to football could feasibly work. So all in all, it’s a big plus for the whole of Scotland.
Well, some haven’t seen it that way. Have a look at some of the reaction of those who were left seething at the Hoops and Aberdeen being allowed to play in front of fans:

Celtic aren’t hosting a thing
It’s not odd for Celtic to be blamed for something they haven’t actually done by a certain other set of football fans in Glasgow, but this really takes the biscuit.
Rival fans are referring to the fact that Boli Bolingoli flew to Spain and didn’t quarantine when he arrived back in the country. The player, however, didn’t even inform anyone at Celtic that he was going (Daily Mail).
For all of the Premiership supporters who can’t understand why Celtic are involved in a test game then it’s pretty simple. Celtic aren’t hosting a single thing. The success of the test event will be all down to Ross County, who have successfully applied to host one.
Celtic don’t even come into the equation. All we’re doing on the day is turning up and trying to get three points. So any petty pops at the champions for this can’t be taken seriously whatsoever.

As for Aberdeen, it’s not as if the players who breached the guidelines haven’t done their self-isolation period. They won’t be running up to those in attendance and giving them all handshakes and cuddles. So long as this is done right, there is no greater danger to those attending than there would be if it was Dundee United, St Johnstone, or Motherwell staging a test event respectively.
The majority of the complaints, surprise surprise, are coming from Rangers fans who continue to show a laughable desperation to blame Celtic for just about everything.
For those who want to know the facts, however, well they will appreciate that the Hoops have done nothing wrong.
In other news, a European talent spotter has hailed Celtic’s summer move.
