Timothy Weah’s return to Celtic Park next season is a “possibility”, according to the striker himself.
The USA international has made three starts and 16 appearances since arriving in Glasgow. Despite that, he feels that he’s got exactly what he was looking for when signing up at Celtic.
Celtic could go into next season with only two proven forwards. Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths will be the players available. Vakoun Issouf Bayo will likely be third choice, but we’ve yet to see him for more than a few minutes. Therefore, potentially adding Weah back into the mix would keep us well stocked.

And the American told the Scotsman that staying at Parkhead is hardly out of the question.
“It’s really up to the family. We just have to discuss it and see what opportunity best fits me and is best for my career and future.
“Who knows? There’s always a possibility I could have another spell at Celtic.
“Right now, I’m just focused on finishing the season, helping the team try to win the treble again and hopefully getting one or two more goals. It’s been great for me at Celtic so far. I’ve taken every moment that I can stretch out of it.”
Celtic need to snap this up if there’s any chance
One of the biggest concerns regarding bringing Weah back would’ve been whether he actually wanted to return. He’s made just three starts despite a further 13 from the bench. It wouldn’t have been a surprise if he looked elsewhere in search of first-team football.
But that doesn’t look as though it’s going to be a problem. Weah says he will discuss his next move with his family, but he seems open to returning to Glasgow.

And if there’s any chance of it, Celtic need to bring him back. He’s a player of incredible potential and offers real star-power. In the majority of his appearances, he’s had a positive influence on the team.
We know what we would get in signing up Weah. A player of undoubted quality who has the ability to run Scottish defences ragged. It should be a no-brainer for the club’s point of view.
Of course, PSG will have a say in this as well. They may want Weah to go somewhere where he would start more frequently. Perhaps to a better league too.
In any case, it’s great to see the USA international still has eyes for Glasgow.
