Celtic loanee Timothy Weah has revealed that Hoops captain Scott Brown has been a ‘role model that he has looked up to in his time at the club.
Brown has been at the centre of controversy after the recent derby win over Rangers. But Weah has come to the defence of his skipper.

“Scott Brown is amazing. Ever since I’ve been here, he’s been a role model for me” Weah disclosed to the Celtic Twitter account.
It is no surprise that Weah looks up to Brown. As Brown is the captain and most experienced player in the side, it will be his job to make all new signings feel at ease in the club.
Enjoying his football
That certainly seems to be the case with Weah, who looks to be enjoying his football in Scotland. Partly that could be how he has been treated by his team-mates. They have welcomed him into the club with open arms.
There is no doubt that Scott Brown will still be a key man for the Hoops next season as they go for nine league titles in a row.
Only time will tell if this proves to be the case with Weah. His loan deal expires at the end of the season. No matter if he leaves or stays, playing with Brown seems to have left a big impression on Weah.
