Tom Rogic has used his Instagram account to send out a final farewell to the Celtic support.

In a statement, the Australian midfielder said: “After over 9 years, my time at Celtic Football Club has come to an end. I feel very lucky to have been able to spend so many amazing years at such a great club. To have played for the club 273 times and won 16 trophies has been a dream come true.

“I have shared a dressing room with so many amazing teammates over the years who I’d like to thank for everything and also congratulate for all we have achieved together.

“To all the managers, coaches and staff members I have worked with at the club, it has been a pleasure working together. Thank you all for helping me become a better player and person.

“To Ange and the boys, I want to wish you all the best for next season, I’m sure the success will continue. I will be watching and cheering you on all the way!

“Lastly, to the fans who have supported me in my time here, thank you. To everyone who was at Celtic Park last weekend thank you for the perfect farewell. It was a special day that will live with me forever.”

It accompanied footage of his final substitution off the pitch at Celtic Park.

As shown in the image above, a number of Celtic players are already getting in touch, including Joe Hart, who replied: “Special mate and fully deserved. Good luck for the future.”

Thousands of Celtic supporters are also interacting, letting Rogic know just how much he was admired during his nine years at the club.

Rogic produced countless golden moments, including one of the most famous goals in the club’s history – against Aberdeen in the 2017 Scottish Cup Final.

He fully deserves all the plaudits coming his way and hopefully he manages to bag himself a fantastic move next.
