Tom Rogic left plenty of Celtic’s supporters on social media delighted after his Instagram snap yesterday.
Rogic hasn’t played a competitive minute of football this season and had been linked with a move to Qatar (Daily Mail). However, just days after the player reportedly had second thoughts, he’s posted an image of him back in training (Scottish Sun).
Indeed, the Wizard of Oz was all smiles as he got back on the grass along with striker Leigh Griffiths. Both men have played heroic roles for the club in recent years.
And supporters were delighted to see both men back in the fold ahead of the end of the season’s first international break. Here’s a look at some of the social media reaction to the image:

Staying fit must be Rogic and Griff’s primary goal
Returning from injury is something that both Rogic and Griffiths will have gotten used to at Celtic. What they need is a sustained run of fitness to help shoot themselves back into contention.
There’s no point in Rogic working hard to get himself back up to speed only for him to play 60 minutes against County and then we’re told he’s out for four weeks. The only thing that will make Rogic compete with Ryan Christie is consistency of fitness. We know he has the ability.
Neil Lennon would also surely love someone to come in and seriously give Christie something to think about. Olivier Ntcham has been in the side in recent weeks, but he hasn’t impressed so far this season. The opportunity is there for Rogic if he remains injury-free.

As for Griff, he has a helluva challenge on his hands here.
Albian Ajeti has two goals in two games, whilst Odsonne Edouard won’t ever be dropped for anyone unless he’s injured.
Griffiths, therefore, may be looking at hopping over Patryk Klimala in the pecking order first and foremost. The Pole has looked decent when given chances by Lennon this season, but after missing some big chances in recent outings, he’ll need to add to his goal return.
Regardless, just having both men back is brilliant for the club. Hopefully this is the start of a return to prominence for both.
In other news, Celtic have reportedly provided a troubled EFL club with a tempting offer.
