Celtic take on Dundee on Wednesday night, and Tony Docherty’s side travel through to Glasgow looking to arrest a run of poor form.
The visitors come to Celtic Park with just one victory in their last eight matches across all competitions and lost out late on to St Johnstone last week in the Scottish Premiership.
In contrast, Celtic’s victory over Motherwell took their unbeaten domestic run to 11 matches under Brendan Rodgers, who will be hungry to put some daylight between his side and Aberdeen during midweek.

With Celtic’s defensive conundrum being the main question against Dundee, there is intrigue over whether Cameron Carter-Vickers will be reinstated to the starting line-up after recovering from a foot problem.
Luke McCowan could also earn a start against his former club, creating an exciting dynamic in Glasgow’s east end. Speaking ahead of the affair, Docherty has now given some insight regarding how Dundee will approach the clash.
Tony Docherty on eradicating Dundee mistakes vs Celtic
Per Dee TV, Docherty has signalled Dundee have to cut out ‘individual mistakes’ to have any chance of claiming a result at Celtic Park on Wednesday night.
He stated, starting off with his thoughts on Saturday’s defeat to St Johnstone: “That’s something we will deal with in-house because I thought we’d eradicated that. The Motherwell game I thought was an example of that.
“But the individual mistakes and taking responsibility is something we have to address and get to the bottom of. I think it’s important, we’re going into a game against Celtic so we don’t have any time.
“We will analyse it, we will be honest about it and people will have to take responsibility for their role in defending that last set-play. We will get on with it and look at the next game.
“We do seem to be getting punished for every mistake we make but I am a great believer in if you keep believing in what you’re doing, keep that trust and keep the group together then you’ll get you rewards for it. It’s important we do that and stick together.”
Celtic will be keen to maintain momentum against Dundee
Despite the Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Aberdeen being around the corner, Celtic will be fully aware of their mission to see off Dundee on Wednesday night.
Maintaining momentum and staying top of the Scottish Premiership are vital as they continue to build the foundations for a successful season, so there can be no room for complacency come kick-off at Parkhead tomorrow night.
Aberdeen have shown their credentials as early season high-flyers and will be keen to continue their own excellent start with a victory against Rangers, meaning the Bhoys will want to go all out to keep hold of their place at the league summit.
With the campaign shaping up nicely, three points tomorrow night for Celtic can hopefully be the start of another positive week for Brendan Rodgers.
