Former Celtic striker Tony Watt chose to highlight his dreamlike night against Barcelona when asked to share a footballing memory on social media.

Players, journalists and fans have all taken part in an ongoing posting spree, sharing the one image of football they enjoy most, while all the action is shutdown in most countries around the world.

Unsurprisingly, Watt chose Barcelona, but it’s not one the most famous images we’d associate with that night but a behind-the-scenes snap from the Celtic dressing room in the aftermath.

As well as Watt adorning a swapped Barcelona top, former stars such as Victor Wanyama, Paddy McCourt and Beram Kayal are all involved in the photo.

Then coach Johan Mjallby and current manager Neil Lennon are right in about the celebrations too.

It was a momentous occasion in the history of the club and on which will live long in the memory of not just those involved with Celtic but all the supporters too.

Watt’s goal, of course, secured victory on the night.

He capitalised on a rare Barcelona error to rush through on goal and stick the ball confidently in the back of the net, sparking scenes of jubilation inside Celtic Park.

The then-teenager would not go on to fulfil his potential at Celtic but still regularly plays and can currently be found at Scottish Premiership side Motherwell.

Regardless of where his career takes him now, that night in 2012 will likely always be his career highlight.

These fans were glad to see him share the moment on Twitter this week, taking to the social media site to share their thoughts…
