Celtic TV once again managed to capture some class footage between Josip Juranovic and Daizen Maeda during their celebrations against Ross County.

Last week, it appeared as though Juranovic tried to do Maeda’s celebration after a Giorgos Giakoumakis goal at Tannadice. This week, there’s certainly no denying that was the case against Ross County.

Maeda’s trademark celebration is to cuff both hands and put them up at his cheeks. The celebration is a tribute to Japanese cartoon character Anpanman. And as Maeda celebrated his goal against County, Juranovic looked to team up with him to do a joint celebration of the player’s trademark. Take a look for yourself below:

It looks as though Juranovic was certainly keen to get involved in Maeda’s celebration. After all, he tried to give it a bash after the second goal too despite it being scored by Giakoumakis!

But in all seriousness, this was just yet another moment that highlighted the togetherness in the team. Look at Juranovic and Giakoumakis after the penalty too.

You can’t fake the love and admiration these players have for each other. Their selflessness is also consistently on show, and it’s important for fans to see it too.

Josip Juranovic and Daizen Maeda show the Celtic togetherness we need to see

There’s nothing more concerning for supporters than when they see players not celebrating or congratulating each other after goals. It always opens itself up to interpretation.

Thankfully, that’s not an issue we have this season. After every goal it feels as though every outfield player comes into the celebrations to say their congratulations. There’s nobody just standing in their position waiting for kickoff again.

We’ve seen things like that over the years. Players who don’t look to join in celebrations or barely react to goals being scored. When the ball hits the net it should hit a strong emotional note with all players. Their reaction to it tells you a lot about their happiness.

That’s what makes it so important to see such strong camaraderie in the squad during celebrations. Look at the smiles involved in every goal celebration too. There is genuine happiness within that group.

It’s all down to Ange Postecoglou too. He’s the man who’s managed to get this group together and keep them all extremely happy regardless of their squad status. Nobody has been banging on the door to get out or stinking up the place with their attitude. For the first time in a long time, it feels as though everyone is committed to the cause.

And as Juranovic and Maeda continue to show, strong, new relationships are being built in a short period of time.
