Celtic supporters have come up with yet another new song for manager Ange Postecoglou, this time on the UEFA Europa League away trip to Germany.

The Celtic boss quipped a few weeks ago that he was impressed that fans managed to fit his name into a song. Well, by my count there’s actually more than a few now on the go as the creative support see no barrier to a multi-syllable surname!

The latest is set to the tune of Belinda Carlisle’s 1987 hit ‘Heaven Is A Place On Earth’ and is a modification of the Lyndon Dykes song that Scotland supporters have been singing recently. You can hear it below in a Twitter clip uploaded by user @Bhoy67John in Germany.

“Postecoglou is the best on earth” the song concludes, after a rather optimistic boast he is going to win the European cup. Lovely stuff!

This may not catch on with the wider support, but it has every chance to given European away trips are often where this kind of thing hits like wildfire.

If nothing else, it’s another sign that the Celtic manager is becoming a massive cult hero with fans. From his handling of the media, his inspirational messages about Celtic’s future and some of the football we’re seeing on the pitch, he’s a very popular man right now.

That popularity would hit new levels tonight if his team manage to pick up a positive result against Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

We go there with a dream and I’m excited for the match. We’ve come a long way from Midtjylland, let me tell you.
