Celtic reserves’ 6-0 hammering of Dundee yesterday in Forfar took them to the top of the Reserve League, and footage of the clash has now been released.

The Hoops released the video on their official Celtic YouTube channel.

We all know that Jack Aitchison (x2) Armstrong Okoflex, Vakoun Issouf Bayo, Kerr McInroy, and Thomas Caffrey got on the scoresheet. But the nature of the goals were extremely impressive.

Bayo, for example, looks a real handful in the highlights package. Not only did he score a fine low finish after timing a run to perfection, he also set up Aitchison for his first with a sublime ball over the top of the Dundee defence.

He seemed to use his power an awful lot in the clips, and looks like he has a bit of pace to his game too. It’s one of the first real, extensive sightings we’ve had of the Ivorian striker.

But he wasn’t the only one to catch the eye in the package either.

McInroy’s rocket

McInroy’s finish was top class. The ball broke to him on the edge of the box, and he looped a curling effort high into the opposite corner. It was extremely similar to Tom Rogic’s goal at Dundee back on Halloween.

Okoflex has been in fine form for the reserves in recent weeks. He bagged a brace against Falkirk a couple of weeks ago, and headed home a winner at Kilmarnock last week too.

This time around, he picked up a Scott Allan pass, shimmied onto his right foot, and curled home a superb finish from just inside the box.

The package from the game is extremely eye-pleasing for the Celtic support. What you take from it individually is likely to differ, but the highlights certainly seem to be the performances of the likes of Bayo, Aitchison, and Okoflex.
