Former Celtic star Kieran Tierney has just scored a wonder goal for Arsenal in the English Premier League, facing off against West Bromwich Albion.

The famous Hoops fan, who recently gave backing to his former club and Neil Lennon, cut in from the wing before curling a beauty round goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

You can see the goal on BT Sport’s official Twitter account.

It’s a great moment for the 23-year-old, who continues to make himself as much of a cult hero at the Gunners than at Celtic.

Celebrity fan and loudmouth Piers Morgan is even a big supporter of the Scotland international, as evidenced on social media this weekend.

It just goes to show that not every Celtic fan is having a bad Saturday.

Tierney would no doubt have been watching today’s defeat to Rangers in the Arsenal team hotel earlier.

He revealed to BT Sport on Friday that’s what he does when the Bhoys are playing at lunchtime.

Regardless of how much it hurts that Tierney is no longer at Celtic, it’s great to see him succeed at a high level.

Hopefully he continues to show why Arsenal paid a large chunk of cash for him. That’d only benefit Celtic’s selling strategy.

In other news, Michael Stewart has delivered a brutal Celtic verdict after today’s derby.
