Alistair Johnston is turning into Celtic’s man of the moment this season after notching his fourth goal in the win against Dundee last night.

The Canadian right-back is enjoying a rich vein of form after making his 14th appearance of the season for Celtic last night.

With four goals and three assists to his name after the Hoops beat Dundee last night, Johnston seems to be developing the attacking side of his game as he helps Celtic continue their unbeaten start to their domestic season.

And the Celtic fans cannot seem to get enough of their hero as they took to social media to praise Johnston for sparking the win over Dundee last night.

It’s not just Brendan Rodgers who was delighted with Alistair Johnston’s Celtic performance agianst Dundee.

After the game, the Celtic fans were lauding the Canadian after he notched his fourth goal of the season.

Johnston is blowing one fan away so much that he said, “Running out of words for this guy.” and another Celtic fan took a cheeky pop at Rangers defender James Tavernier, “Big fan of Alistair Johnston turning into a goalscoring right back, without the help of about 20 penalties a season too of course.”

One Celtic fan said, “He’s so good he makes Yang look good.” whilst another simply said, “Goat”.

“Up there with Scales and Kühn for player of the year so far.” said one Celtic fan might need to brace themselves for some summer bids, “It’s Alistair Johnston we’re going to struggle to keep, goals aside, he has all attributes to make it anywhere, if he has a great Champions League then i reckon he’ll be gone for the summer.”
