Celtic have a heavy fixture schedule to contend with as Brendan Rodgers looks to defend his Scottish Premiership crown and make progress in the Champions League.

After Celtic’s draw with Club Brugge, the Hoops put themselves firmly in the driving seat to qualify out of the league phase for the first time since 2013.

However, it’s not Celtic’s Champions League results that have the Croatian media in a spin. It’s what Rodgers’ team are doing in the Scottish Premiership that has them all in a tizz.

Celtic labelled ‘a firecracker’ after Ross County win sets fear in Croatia

Brendan Rodgers set down a marker as he watched his Celtic team hammer Ross County on Saturday and it seems that that performance has made the Croatian media sit up and take notice.

Media outlet Sportske said, “Dinamo’s next opponent in the Champions League suffered a ‘firecracker’, in the first half.

“A new easy victory in the Scottish Premiership was achieved by Celtic, who defeated Ross County 5-0 at home in the 14th round.”

Telesport was equally blown away but delivered a scathing verdict on Don Cowie’s men, “Although the weak Ross County may not be an authoritative opponent, Celtic have already shown a handful of times this season that they have a serious attacking arsenal and a solid defence.

“In 13 games played, the team scored 40 and conceded only four goals. This is by far the best league ratio.”

Celtic’s form vs Dinamo Zagreb ahead of Champions League clash

Celtic fans will be confident ahead of the big Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb. Brendan Rodgers has negotiated what is widely regarded as the Hoops’ hardest games with a defeat to Borussia Dortmund, a draw against Atalanta and a win over the Bundesliga’s RB Leipzig.

So with that in mind, 67 Hail Hail decided to take a deep dive into Celtic and Dinamo Zagreb’s form for the whole season before the two clubs meet next Wednesday night.

So it seems that looking at the stats, Celtic are looking very good heading into the game with Zagreb not only leaking points domestically but also plenty of goals.

With the firepower Rodgers has at his disposal, Celtic have a great chance of picking up a positive result in Zagreb.
