Celtic fans have been finding out about the club’s new fourth kit after it appeared earlier on the official Adidas website.
There’s been plenty of chat about the need for a fourth 2022/23 shirt in recent weeks, with many supporters feeling that it is a step too far.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side have worn the green and white hoops this season, as well as a green and black striped away kit and a grey third option.

All three have proven popular with supporters and the same will surely apply to Adidas’ latest efforts.
The German sportswear giants had the ‘shadow green’ effort on their website earlier, and our verdict is that it’s a bit of a belter.
The images show a Irish tricolour addition to the old-fashioned collar and sleeves, with the rest of the detail in light green. A historic Celtic logo is also included on the back.
The site says that the shirt will be available on March 16 at 8:30am. It is priced at £65.
A look back on the Adidas website later in the day seemed to show that the kit had been taken off display on the Celtic homepage.
We can only assume that they jumped the gun on the unveiling, with their announcement glory turning out to be short lived. We will likely hear from Celtic shortly.

When news of the kit first came out last year (Footy Headlines), it was reported that it would be worn by the team before the end of the season.
Given that there aren’t too many matches left between release and the final game, our options may be limited.
Perhaps a post-split away game would fit the bill.
Footy Headlines also reported that the kit would be “unique and “have a proper release”. It seems like all of that checks out so far.
Now for the official unveiling from Celtic. And more details on when the club could wear it before the end of the campaign.
