When is Scottish Cup fourth round and who are Celtic potential opponents

It capped off a lovely double last season for Celtic.

The Scottish Cup trophy this year, however, will hopefully tie up a delightful Treble for Brendan Rodgers’ side who are leading the Scottish Premiership at a canter and are already locked in for the Premier Sports Cup Final later this month.

It is a competition that manager Rodgers loves so it will be interesting to see who the current holders are drawn against when they enter the fourth round draw later this evening.

Celts will make their first appearance in the competition in the next round of matches alongside the rest of the clubs from the Scottish Premiership.

Up until now it has been the lower league clubs battling it out to make it through to round four, but top flight and European competitors will now enter the fray.

There remains just one fixture from the third round to be completed and that – between East Kilbride and Falkirk – will be played this evening.

The draw for the fourth round of the Scottish Cup takes place tonight, Monday December 2. EK host Falkirk in their 7.45pm kick-off and the draw will take place afterwards.
