It’s that time of year when Celtic fans can look back at how the team has performed in the new season and also reflect on the success of the previous season.
After Brendan Rodgers secured a league and Scottish Cup double for Celtic, the Hoops boss has followed that up with a League Cup win over Rangers as the Irishman continues his domination of domestic football.
Of course, that success wouldn’t have happened if Rodgers hadn’t gotten his recruitment right after the Celtic manager clearly wasn’t impressed with last summer’s recruitment.

So here, 67 Hail Hail takes a look at all of Rodgers’ signings in 2024 which includes the work the Celtic boss did in the January window that helped the Hoops get off to a storming start this season.
9th – Viljami Sinisalo
Signed as a backup to Kasper Schmeichel, Viljami Sinisalo is a Finnish international ‘keeper with a bright future in the game.
The youngster is still to make his Celtic debut, so judgement is reserved until the 22-year-old pulls his gloves on for the first time.
8th – Álex Valle
The young Barcelona left-back was brought in as backup to Greg Taylor. In 13 appearances, Alex Valle has impressed the Celtic fans and deputised well when Taylor was injured for a spell.
Has dropped out of the starting lineup of late and is said to be returning to the Catalan giants in January.
7th – Adam Idah
Adam Idah made an excellent impact at Celtic during his initial loan spell at the club where he helped get a league and Scottish Cup double over the line.

In 24 appearances for Celtic albeit many from the bench, the Irishman has still scored eight goals after his £8.5m move from Norwich City.
6th – Arne Engels
Celtic’s most expensive signing, young Belgian international, Arne Engels has flitted in and out of Rodgers’ first team.
At just 21, Engels has plenty of time to prove his worth to Celtic. And despite suffering from a recent spate of poor form, the talented midfielder has still scored four goals and created seven assists in 23 appearances this season.
5th – Paulo Bernardo
Paulo Bernardo had a very good loan spell at Celtic last season which inspired Brendan Rodgers to splash out over £3m on the former Benfica midfielder.
Competing with Reo Hatate, Luke McCowan and Arne Engels for a starting spot, the Portugal U21 captain has scored three goals and created two assists so far this season.
4th – Luke McCowan
One of the surprise signings of the summer, Luke McCowan has been one of the standouts at Celtic this season.

Making most of his appearances from the bench, the former Dundee captain has scored six goals and created nine assists after his bargain £1m move from Dens Park.
3rd – Auston Trusty
The US defender had a job ahead of him trying to oust Liam Scales from Celtic’s starting lineup. After a nightmare starting debut against Borussia Dortmund, Auston Trusty has rallied and formed a formidable partnership with Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Celtic have dropped just two points this season with Trusty in the team and have lost just one Champions League fixture.
2nd – Kasper Schmeichel
The big Danish international has been outstanding for Celtic after taking over the reins from Joe Hart in the Parkhead goal.
Kasper Schmeichel has conceded just four goals in the league, 10 in total domestically as Celtic enjoy an unbeaten start to the first half of the season.
1st – Nicolas Kuhn
The German winger has been outstanding for Celtic and is Brendan Rodgers’ most potent goal threat this season.
Nicolas Kuhn looks like a player transformed after scoring 12 goals and creating 11 assists this season after struggling during his initial loan spell were illness curtailed his Hoops career.
At just £3m, the Celtic winger has made a mockery of his transfer fee with some stunning performances not only domestically but also in the Champions League this season.
