The Celtic fans will be hoping the team can overcome Inverness Caley Thistle in the Scottish Cup to ensure that another treble is brought home to Parkhead this Saturday.

Already this week we have heard why Hibernian boss, Lee Johnson will be cheering on the Hoops to lift the cup and now we can add Aberdeen star Ylber Ramadani to the list of unofficial Celtic supporters for the day.

Ramadani was fuming after the 5-0 drubbing his side received on Trophy Day. But that didn’t stop the Albanian international from hoping that Ange Postecoglou’s men lift the cup on Saturday.

Ramadani said [Aberdeen Live], “I would say in the first 25 minutes we were playing good and pressing good but we did not want it to end like that with a 5-0. Absolutely not. The last 20 minutes was not good for us.

“I hope that they (Celtic) win the Scottish Cup because it will also be good for us to have eight games in European football. It would not be a bad result for us.

“It would be very good because our fans are waiting for these things. When I came here, I wanted to get third place and we have managed to achieve that.”

If Celtic are victorious, that would mean that Aberdeen would reach the Europa League play-off spot. Should they fall at that hurdle, then guaranteed Europa Conference League group stages await The Dons.

Regardless though, Celtic will only be fully focused on what they have to achieve on Saturday. They will not concern themselves with the plights of Hibernian and Aberdeen.

For Celtic, a win would mean that we are the only club in football history to have won eight domestic trebles. Ange Postecoglou and his players will be doing everything that they can to bring home the only domestic cup that has slipped their grasp.
