Celtic are the comeback kings of Scotland and the ultimate one was at Rugby Park in the 3-2 away win at Kilmarnock.
2-0 down to Kilmarnock and heading into the tunnel at half time looking down and out, Celtic fought back at Rugby Park to produce a stunning 3-2 win after Julian Araujo’s 97th-minute winner sparked scenes of jubilation.
For Celtic fans it was a special moment to remember. However, for Robbie Deas, that day still haunts him despite the Kilmarnock man speaking about their brilliant 1-0 win over Hearts at the weekend.

Robbie Deas is still in agony about Celtic’s dramatic win at Kilmarnock
Sebastian Tounekti sparked the Celtic fightback and Araujo completed it. But for Deas, that day still evokes painful memories.
Deas told the Kilmarnock Standard, “We need to treat every game like a cup final, I think we did that. I’m delighted. Three points [vs Hearts], clean sheet and we need to build on it.
“Celtic was a tough one to take and the most important thing is, when things like that happen, you learn from it. And I think we did do that.
“You could see we stood up to the challenge. They flung balls in and the boys were putting their bodies on the line and it was brilliant.
“We played really well in that [Celtic] game and to come away with nothing was a sore one to take. But this shows what we’re all about and that’s the standard.”
Celtic’s next three fixtures before the split
Celtic face a tough run of fixtures before the top-six split but at least they will not face Kilmarnock again this season with the Rugby Park side buried in 11th place in the league.
