Celtic manager Neil Lennon has a big decision to make over Olivier Ntcham tonight.

The Frenchman is emerging as one the club’s top performers in recent matches. This was cemented with a fantastic start at the weekend in the win at Motherwell.

However, Ryan Christie more than deserves his shot, but only one will be able to play.

The on-off relationship between Ntcham and the club will have turned a few Hoops fans.

Nevertheless, the manager has put it behind him and included the Frenchman in his team. A few sub appearances over the last few weeks is bringing back the Ntcham the fans knew.

The imposter last season is being quickly forgotten about, as is his out place words.

Although Christie played last week in Romania, Ntcham saw out the game and helped Celtic get the draw.

The Hoops were up against it but Ntcham was relaxed and helped the team up the pitch.

His performance at the weekend will not go unnoticed either and it might play into Lennon’s mind.

Ntcham is the relaxed and classy player while Christie is a ball playing buzz-bomb who Cluj will fear.

Neil Lennon’s game plan must be careful

A lot of fans will believe there is nothing to worry about tonight. Cluj were not the best team the club have faced in European qualifying but they weren’t the worst.

As is common at this level, all these teams have a niche or a few things that stand out which have clearly helped get them where they are.

Cluj is a team that believe they have a lot to prove and show they are Champions League standard.

If Celtic go all out attack then the impressive counter from Cluj will pick The Bhoys off.

Next round’s opponents Slavia Prague will be watching and could see the two sides of Celtic tonight. Let’s hope we don’t leave them after the 90 minutes with Cheshire cat smiles on their faces.
