Tom Rogic has enjoyed a stop-start season for Celtic so far. In fact, since Neil Lennon arrived at the club, he has rarely featured for the Hoops, due to a variety of reasons. The most recent a series of niggling injuries, which saw him miss the epic 2-1 win over Lazio in Rome.
However, he did feature for Australia recently in their 1-0 win over Jordan. As was recently reported by 67 Hail Hail, his performance was warmly received by some Australian supporters.
The question that has to be asked regarding Rogic, is will his international form see him recalled to the Celtic first-team?
Not a first pick in current Hoops line-up

At the moment, he is on the fringes of the side. If you were picking your current best Celtic starting side on ability, then Rogic would get in almost every time. But it isn’t always about ability and skills. Sometimes it is about graft, which is why Ryan Christie is currently ahead of Rogic in the pecking order.
There is no doubt that when Christie is unavailable, or unfit, then Rogic is a capable replacement. He did start the recent Betfred Cup semi-final win over Hibs. He wasn’t at his very best in that game, but Rogic still displayed a few sublime touches in Celtic’s 5-2 win.
Hoops boss will be pleased player is fit once more

Neil Lennon will have been taking notice of Rogic’s display for Australia. He will be delighted more than anything that the player is fit again. That has come at just the right time, as the Hoops have a very busy schedule in the weeks to come.
Rogic’s performances for Australia might not be enough for the player to get into the Celtic starting line-up each week. At the moment, you can’t see past Ryan Christie for the attacking midfield position. However, should he stay fit, he should be involved in most weeks, even if that means that he starts as a substitute.
