Willie Miller reckons Celtic deserved to beat Aberdeen last night as they had the moments of quality to do so.
The Pittodrie icon was working for BBC Sportsound as he took in the 90 minutes where the blustering wind made it difficult for either side to really stamp their authority on the action.
Both sides had their opportunities and Celts even had the ball in the net only for it to be ruled out for a foul on goalkeeper Ross Doohan.
Neil Lennon felt it was the right call to disallow the strike but the conditions made it tough for the visitors to get going again until late on.

Reo Hatate was eventually found by substitute Greg Taylor and he controlled the ball before lashing it beyond Doohan into the bottom corner for what would ultimately prove to be the winner.
Miller felt there was an air of inevitability about the goal as he acknowledged the difference between the Hoops and every other competitor in the Scottish Premiership.
The 69-year-old had been pleased with the Dons and their stellar efforts to get closer to Celtic this term following what was an excellent start to the campaign and an unbeaten run early on.
Miller admits Celtic have been the best club in the country for ‘seasons’
But when Brendan Rodgers’ side proved too much, Miller accepted what the whole of Scottish football has come to know which is the gulf in quality between Celts and everyone else is becoming too much to bridge.
“Aberdeen have challenged Celtic on a couple of occasions but Celtic are the best team at this moment in time. They have been for some seasons in Scotland,” Miller said.
“We need competition, we need to try to make it difficult for Celtic in that’s what Aberdeen are doing. They did it at Celtic Park, they did it here tonight.
“I thought Celtic were the better team.
“Yeah the chances created, Jimmy Thelin’s right, Celtic didn’t create any more chances than Aberdeen, but they’ve got the quality and eventually they take the opportunity and deserve the win.
Where Jimmy Thelin disagreed with Willie Miller about Aberdeen’s Celtic defeat
“But take nothing away from Aberdeen, it was a good performance.”
We told you earlier how manager Thelin had his own opinion on the result from last night.
The Swede insisted a draw would have been a fairer result.
He said: “Maybe a draw tonight would’ve been a fair result,” Thelin said. “It was two different styles today, we know Celtic have quality with the ball and how they play but our team were disciplined and worked hard together as a unit.
“In form of chances I think it was quite a tight, equal game. They had some, the goal they score is top quality. The chances we had in the end, I can’t remember who blocked the shot from Ester (Sokler) but it was so close.”
