A bright future ahead as Celtic enter a period to be savoured

Things are ticking along nicely for Brendan Rodgers and Celtic, even if we are still waiting on that major euphoric moment.

It’s been a bizarre few months since we lifted that fifth treble in six seasons at the start of June. You know all about it, but it’s been a funny old period.

Now, with his new recruits starting to settle in and players returning from injury, Rodgers seems ready to usher in a continued era of Celtic dominance.

Everything coming out of the Celtic manager’s mouth in recent weeks has been positive, and the team’s performances have steadily improved as the weeks have advanced.

Now we’re just needing that real joyous moment of his second stint in charge. Sure, we’ve won at Ibrox, but I’m talking about one in front of our own fans. It could arrive against the might of Atletico Madrid in midweek.

As I sign off at 67 Hail Hail after four-and-a-half great years, I’m immensely excited about the future of this side under a brilliant manager.

Believe it or not, this is my 3,162th article on this site. Given that I spent three years working full-time on our YouTube channel, it’s been a busy old period.

Fittingly, Celtic have lifted ten domestic honours in that period. Not bad considering we took a full season off. Rodgers, Neil Lennon and Ange Postecoglou have all contributed to that success as managers, as well as so many players, coaches and other personnel.

I have no doubt that Celtic will continue to win honours and this outlet will continue to write and speak about them. The Celtic support will always be there to support our teams (and anything remotely surrounding them).

There are plenty more times to come, and I genuinely believe that big European victory is just around the corner. Although, as you may well know, I am famously bad with predictions.

So savour these huge upcoming matches and embrace everything it is to be a brilliant Celtic supporter.

It’s been a pleasure.
