Celtic fans still have a major stadium display to look forward to; brilliant early season plans revisited

Celtic fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months as Ange Postecoglou’s side plot a domestic treble.

We’re already in to the League Cup final where we’ll take on our rivals Rangers later this month.

Added to that, we’re going strong in the Scottish Cup and are nine points clear at the top of the Premiership with 15 matches to go.

We have an immensely exciting squad, with new arrivals coming in to shake things up further.

And with the potential for more Champions League group stage football later in 2023, it’s a genuinely rousing period to support the club.

That extends to off the field matters too. The Celtic support have been right behind Ange Postecoglou and his team from day one, with vocal backing and wonderful displays of support.

The greatest example of the latter so far was on the opening day of this season when the Celtic support took part in a full stadium display to celebrate last season’s league triumph.

The tifo was organised and carried out by the Green Brigade who announced their intentions for the new campaign during the close season.

At the time, they wrote: “Ange has united our entire club, so we will prepare a tifo that will involve the entire stadium. To achieve this, we need your support.

“We won’t stop at one tifo; we will keep the fund running to support all tifo initiatives throughout the season.

“This will include bigger, better, more regular tifos as well as at least two full stadium tifos for the season.”

So with one full stadium tifo down, Celtic fans can still look forward to another before the end of the campaign.

When that takes place, we’ll have to wait and see.

Obvious contenders would be the final home derby of the season on Saturday 8 April, or Trophy Day should we get over the line and win a second successive title.

Whatever the case, it promises to be a really exciting period for fan displays. Supporters will likely have something special lined up for the cup final against our rivals too.

Hopefully it can help drive the team on to success in three competitions.
