Claudio Braga tells Celtic Hearts are only beginning as title pain shines through
Braga was honest about the pain Hearts are still feeling after their campaign ended in disappointment.
He said: “I’m not going to lie, it’s quite sore still. “So, it’s hard to feel and to think about other stuff.
“But before yesterday, when we look at each other, we just feel like this is the beginning. “We can definitely do more.
“We were not yet at that level. “So, we’ve just been through the season and learning and learning with the mistakes.
“And now, next season, we learned already. So, we got even more stuff to do and a little bit more professional and more educated when it comes to that.
“So, I feel it’s just the beginning for the club. It’s just the beginning for the players. I feel that we have a lot to do and we deserved more.
“But at the same time, I feel everything happens for a reason. And next year, we’re going to get stronger.”
Braga’s comments clearly show there is belief inside the Hearts dressing room.

The problem for Hearts is that Celtic supporters have become used to hearing rivals promise they will come back stronger after losing out.
Rangers have done it repeatedly after title defeats. Every summer brings fresh claims about lessons learned, momentum shifts and closing the gap.

That is why Braga’s comments are unlikely to concern anyone at Parkhead. Ambition matters, but proving it over a full season is completely different. And let’s not forget, after all the Hearts hype, they end the season trophyless.
Hearts may improve next year, but Celtic remain the benchmark in Scottish football until somebody finally stops them on the pitch.
