When it comes to the current Celtic team, arguably the most important player is James Forrest. He has become a player full of premise to the genuine article in the last few seasons.

Forrest has awarded for his performances for the season with a series of accolades. He was named as player of the year by his fellow professionals, the football writers of Scotland and by the Scottish Premiership.

All those awards could be getting the player plenty of attention, especially in England. However, the Hoops need to rebuff any bids that come in for the player in the summer.

Therefore, it would not be a shock to see Leicester bid for Forrest in the summer. The Celtic board and manager – whoever that may be – will be aware of Forrest’s qualities though, and make sure any bids are turned down, no matter how many millions are offered.

The Hoops are only two titles away from the fabled 10 in a row. Now isn’t the time to be selling one of the best players at the club.
